PADI ( Professional Association of Diving Instructors ) is the largest organization of recreational diving worldwide. Founded in 1966 by John Cronin and Ralph Erickson, currently has about 135000 instructors, assistantant instructor and divemasters, teach you to dive in its approximately 6000 Dive Centers in over 180 countries and territories.

PADI develops programs, standards of teaching and instructional materials, certifies instructors , provides support services to its members and strict quality control is assured.  The PADI uses the concept of Learning -Based Income. The use of an Integrated System of Instruction ( Modules ) allows flexibility adapting it to different learning styles, preferences, personal and logistical needs, while maintaining the highest quality of teaching.
